Roseville Road, Leeds

A poorly design internal wall had suffered from substantial movement due to the lack of expansion joints and no tying in facility to adjacent areas. Gard was employed to install a wall restraint system and carry out other associated works, whilst keeping the building fully operational. The scope of works was as follows:

• Remove affected cladding to give access to defective wall
• Create openings in floor to accommodate new steelwork
• Install steel wall restraint system
• Make good cracking to wall using Helical Bars
• Remove suspended ceiling, kitchen units, toilet cubicles and toilets to give access to cracked tiles.
• Re-tile walls and reinstate toilets, kitchen and suspended ceilings
